Glasgow Subway's Kids Go Free promotion a 'big success' - Rail News from rail.co: "Strathclyde Partnership for Transport’s Kids Go Free summer Subway promotion has proved a big success with families and ticket sales are up by £68,000.

During the eight-week offer period, 25 June – 21 August, there were an additional 57,000 adult trips on the Subway compared to the same period last year, an increase of 6%.

SPT chair Jonathan Findlay said: “It is great to hear that the Subway’s Kids Go Free offer was used by so many families this summer."
